Hey there - I am completely new to this, so bear with my ignorance.
I have a brand new gaming PC with a GTX 970 that I don't use during the day, how do I join a pool and start mining bitcoins?
Please tell me if that would be a mistake or what I should watch out for (besides cloud mining, which I know to avoid).
Just want to earn a little.
P.S.
I run Linux and have looked at bfgminer but haven't figured out how to setup the Bitcoin Core wallet to work with the miner... Hence why I am here asking for advice.
