Can someone help a new miner get set up on a pool?

Hi guys, I just hooked up my S7 rig and now need to join a pool.

I am new to mining and pretty technologically challenged (a friend set up the rig), but my s7 is on and now I just think I need to join a pool?

What is a good ELI5 for how I could set up my miner to my wallet?

Disclaimer: Yes I'm aware that bitcoin mining is going to get halved, but I am passionate about the freedom bitcoin/cryptocurrency offers and would like to be apart of it however I could.
