So this happened about 3 weeks ago. I used to play a game called CS:GO which many of you here probably know about. If not, it's simply a first person shooter game that is very popular these days, especially among younger generations of PC players. In CS:GO there are these virtual items that you can eventually convert to 'real' money. So I stopped playing and I decided to sell this one nice weapon skin I had that was worth about $1200. So I found a buyer who was recommended to me by a friend and I let him choose the skin, he paid me upfront via bank transfer. I sent him the skin and we were both happy. 2 Weeks ago (1 week later from the sale) he messaged me and told me that he didn't like the skin anymore because he noticed it was 'duped'. Apparently if people get scammed, Valve (the company that own Steam and CS:GO) can restore your inventory essentially duplicating items. I didn't know about this and I apologised and he even admitted it was his own fault. He then nagged me that I should refund him because 'I wouldn't loose anything'. He then got quite angry when I politely refused and he decided to block me on Skype.3 Days later I'm just chilling playing some generic pay to win WW2 game and I try to buy some of those gold coins. Suddenly I see 'transaction declined'. So I called my bank and I was like what's up? They told me my card was blocked and they could not tell me anything else. The next day I trekked into the bank branch and I asked what was going on. The teller called someone and came back and explained that someone sent me money and then a week later claimed that they 'forgot sending me the money' and my card was blocked?!?! Apparently the person then 'remembered' and my card was unblocked hours before I came to the bank.I mean what kind of shit is that?! That would never happen with BTC, and I think it is honestly disgusting that my funds can be revoked like that for no reason, considering that someone can claim to 'forget' sending funds.TLDR: I'm hodlingEDIT: Spelling via /r/Bitcoin http://bit.ly/1O8Qsz6
