I think the most important question related to SegWit is, how various non-updated clients will see segwit transactions? As I understand, new SegWit addresses are indistinguishable from P2SH addresses*. If Bob sends segwit transaction to Sally, who uses an old version of electrum, how does that transaction show up?
As I understand, this issue mostly covers clients which use P2SH addresses (such as multisig), but which do not understand segwit. It would be nice to compile a list of clients and possible problem scenarios for future troubleshooting, to make the issues easier. We could list these on Bitcoin Wiki, for example, so that users can actually understand what is going on, and check which client they are using and how they are affected.
