Okay, maybe I'm venting, but holy shit is it basically impossible to buy bitcoin as an international abroad in the United States at any of the major sites due to all the verification shit.
Circle? Nope, denied without reason after I uploaded my passport (non-US)
Coinbase? Asks for my ID, which is non-US, and then despite the fact that my debit card is from a US bank, it freezes the account, saying that it's not supported in my home country.
CEX.IO? Decided to check them out after I saw a post here from them advertising a "hassle-free" process. Ahahahahha what a joke. A shitton of documents needed as scans.
Kraken? Nope. At least they have "tiers" needing less verification, but still needs ID and stuff for actual money changing.
Are there any fucking exchanges/vendors that I can buy from, as an international abroad in the States (IE, ID is foreign, bank is US, and no SSN, etc)? No ATMs nearby at all, and I am extremely against meeting someone in person.
EDIT: I forgot to mention: localbitcoins somewhat scares me regarding legitimacy (plus the markups). EDIT2: Bitsquare? Also a joke - like 10 listings looking to buy BTC for USD (like me) and none at all for selling .
