Anyone tried XT60 type power connectors?
I am going to solder two pairs of 4mm csa wires directly to the DPS-1300 power supply and terminate them to an XT60 power connector, as used on model aircraft etc. Will give me two outlets per power supply.
The XT60 connectors are similar to those used on forklift trucks but much smaller, rated around 60A.
On the Miners I'm going to shape the wiring straight out the miner and solder to the other half of the plug.
This should make drawing the miner out of the rack a lot easier in my instance.
I'm fed up using car crimp connectors onto the power supplies and think this could be a better solution.
I'll stick some photos up when I've done the first mod. Have 30 pairs of connectors arriving the weekend and a 100W iron to solder them up.
