So, I'm a complete newbie. I've studied the basics of mining and looked over the pros and the cons. I'd like to buy an Antminer and have it run in my dorm while I'm at college, mostly because the electricity is free. What are your guys' thoughts? Is this a viable plan?
I know I'm not supposed to have any huge expectations from mining, hell, even making a small amount of spending money each year (~$1k) would be nice. But again, I'm a newbie, so I want advice from the pros. Is this something worth investing a few hundred bucks in for the long run (4 years of college) or no?
