Newbie needs an explanation on Scrypt Mining And Graphics Cards .

Hi Reddit ,

since recently , ive been studying all i can about getting in the scrypt mining arena .

But there is something i dont get and that is the graphics card memory size ?

Is it important at all for mining cryptocurrency ? And if so why ?

And Do they for some reason have to have the same memory size across my rig ? Or can i easily have a rack of several different graphic cards and different memory sizes and it will all work just fine ?
