Bitcoin mining has peaked my interest but my research consistently leaves my questions unanswered. I’m trying to look into a standard gpu rig (6 gpus?). The questions I have are is it still profitable today? What is typical hardware for a gpu rig (1660’s, 2070)? How much does a rig like this cost in terms of electricity (my research says ballpark is $120/mo)? How much does the rig mine a day (my research says ballpark is $46/day)? How long does it take to mine a bitcoin (my research says ballpark is 1.5 bitcoin/year)?
Any information would help. Most of what I’ve read or seen only gives me a really beaten around the bush answer when I’m trying to get a much more firm and straight up answer. Thank you to anyone in advance for trying to help a noob out.
