BitMart will accept deposits of your crypto without KYC then will use the guise of KYC to refuse to let you withdraw. Any reputable exchange that uses KYC will require KYC upfront BEFORE accepting deposits. I stupidly deposited BTC there and when I wanted to withdraw they required me to provide a million pieces of KYC (selfies and all that shit) but I provided everything and they are claiming that they cannot accept my driver's license and that I must go get a new passport just to withdraw my .25 BTC. This same driver's license has sufficed for every other crypto platform including strict ones like Coinbase.
I know I was dumb to even deposit there but I want to save others from this mistake. A reputable exchange wouldn't do this.
