How to cash out a large amount of BTC

HiSometime in the near future, I am hoping to cash out some BTC to buy a house. I'm a US citizen but reside in Japan. The BTC was purchased via coinbase, but I need the cash to end up in Japan.Some thoughts:Using a Japanese exchange like Coincheck - but I am not sure what the tax implications of this would be - or what the withdrawal limits there are.Using Kraken or Binance US.
