It costs 1.76 cents to make a US penny

For anyone that doubts bitcoin and wants to stand behind the almighty dollar just a penny for your thought. The government figures that it only costs 5.5 cents to make a dollar bill so over all they're up. A nickel costs a little over 7 cents to make. It costs tax payers 118.8 million a year to mint these stupid coins.So why don't they stop? Because it's the US government and bills have come and gone so something as simple as It costs more to make isn't a reason enough. Why back something with that kind of ignorance?
