If you’ve learned how the bitcoin protocol works, I need your help.
Good day!
Bitpy is a project I’ve been working on in the last couple of weeks. Its main goal is to provide tools which will allow users to interact with every aspect of the Bitcoin protocol. I want people to be able to construct their own messages, scripts, keys, transaction etc.
This project is aimed at those who wish to improve their understanding of the Bitcoin protocol and I hope that it will help them to mitigate the steep learning curve.
I try to document the project progress on my blog and provide some basic videos, codes and screenshots that will, hopefully, might be useful for the community.
But now, when I look at a list of all the things that I want to implement and improve, I find it very hard to prioritize. So I’ve created a short video demonstration of some of the features that are already integrated into it, and I’m hoping that the some of you might have some feedbacks.

The splitting of ETH/ETC will be seen as a seminal even in the history of Bitcoin.
seminal - an event strongly influencing later developments.
This messy hard fork has clarified the role and importance of Bitcoin.
- Ethereum as a reliable store of value is dead.
- Until Bitcoin (and yes, it will be Bitcoin) attains a market capitalization in the trillions of dollars, the most important utility of the entire crypto currency space will be to act as a sponge for capital.
- The really interesting smart contract applications require a huge, stable capital base.

(serious) We should start our own independent nation, we have the capital.
At this point I think the crypto community has matured greatly and we can have some real sway in the world, but we are still being prosecuted by overbearing governments for no reason.
With the capital we now command we are able to secede from our governments and start our own nation.
We could start with one island such as this for example: http://bit.ly/2aFPGvE *note this is just an example
5400 acres for $2.2 million. I know a lot of people will say that you can't just buy some land from a country and be an independent nation but here's the thing. Look at how bureaucratic and backwards some governments are if we raised around the approximate amount the dao raised I'm sure a lot of countries would allow us to break off and become an independent nation.
Once we are an independent nation we would become a hub for not just crypto enthusiast but entrepreneurs and start ups everywhere.
I know many people have been dreaming of something like this becoming a reality, what I'm trying to get across is this doesn't have to be a dream anymore we have the power to make it a reality.
What do all of you think of this?
