i have 5 S9 units which should arrive in march. im wondering if the mining community is still optimistic about the profitability of S9. I and a few friends have been looking into renting a space and putting about 25 machines in there but profitability has dropped significantly since we placed our orders due to increased difficulty and dropping coin value.
is the community still confident in the profitability of an asic mine with mostly S9 units? or is it a little too late in the game for this to be practical investment?
wondering if i should abandon my mining plans and just resell my S9s before they have been used. unfortunately i cant mine at home because i live in nyc so noise complaints are an issue and electricity is obnoxious. the plan has been to rent in Pennsylvanian due to the low electricity (8-9 cents) Thank you for your time.
