The more gpu mining becomes popular the more expensive mining gets (Gpus are now double what they used to be) That's fucking insane and since I am a gamer 75% of the time and only mined when I'm afk or asleep.. I can't upgrade my gpu when volta comes out it will be priced way the fuck too high because of miners. (People predicting over 1.5k inital for gtx 1180 ti)... Also the more popular mining is the less profitable it becomes the more compute power the less each hash gets paid. Gpu mining cannot sustain this high gpu prices and the inevitablty it becomes unprofitable due to oversaturatation. I have to ask though how do you guys feel I can feesivily sell my GTX 1080 used for easily way more than I got it new... To be fair it seems like a shit-show currently for anyone who doesn't have an ASIC.
