I just built a gaming pc, and am wondering if it would be worthwhile to use it for bitcoin mining as supplemental income, or if the power costs would make it not profitable.
Computer is an i7 8700k, 16 gb RAM, 750w PSU, but haven't bought a gpu yet and am using an old 970 at the moment.
With my setup, is it worthwhile to start mining? MA electric rate is is about 12 cents per kilowatt-hour. I'm a complete newb regarding mining.
