Hey looking to set up my first full node. Looking at options and wanted to get some opinions.I want my node to be standalone hardware and be always on. I want it to also be on the lightning network. I don't really want it to be super expensive but I'd also like it to be very up-to-date and more or less able to pick up the newest tech. I most likely won't use every feature but I'd like to learn about the most promising and important ones. I don't have any experience with LN yet but its really all about learning. I don't even have anything to spend BTC on except maybe random stuff from amazon. Not a whole lot of my usual purchases accept it but I'm too excited about the tech to wait.I want it to look good and clean like the Nodl or Casa but if I can achieve something similarly organized looking with a pi/external drive case I'd love it. UI is important too. I don't necessarily care if its easy to set up. Having a fun project to get it working sounds like a lot of fun.Casa: I'm somewhat confused by their pricing and products. Their website kinda sucks. $300 seems like a lot considering its a yearly payment? why is it a per year thing? Do I have to return the node if I end my service? Do they somehow shut my node off if I stop paying? I saw it also included a Trezor One. I would prefer a Trezor T and might end up buying one anyways but including the wallet is what might make the price worth it.Nodl: Also expensive but maybe worth saving for? Looks really nice. Not sure what the difference between it and their new partnership with the Samourai Dojo. I use Samourai on my phone and privacy is important to me but I don't quite understand the features. In any case the Dojo version is not worth saving for. Its crazy expensive.RaspiBlitz: Looks fun to set up and considering I already have an RPi3 laying around could be pretty dang cheap but I'm unsure what I'd be missing out on with the other more expensive nodes. Not sure what the difference is between it and RaspiBolt. I like having a screen and I like the idea of being able to control and monitor the node... from the node. An intuitive looking UI and nice clean case are also important to me.Mynode: Haven't really looked too much into this one but I like the UI? There was a reddit post about it that seemed to get some people excited so I thought I'd ask about it. Price is nice. Case is blah. via /r/Bitcoin http://bit.ly/36w09T8
