So there's a local deli where I work and I eat at this deli at least twice a week. At their front register, they have a laminated sign that reads "CASH IS KING- we appreciate payment in cash is possible." I've developed a relationship with the manager/owner over time and I asked why they prefer cash payments, and it basically boils down to credit card fees eating away at their profit margin.As the relationship grew, we got to talking about how nobody carries cash anymore and everyone pays with a card or their phone. I asked them if there was a digital way to receive for them to get paid, but had virtually no fees if they would like me to show them how to set it up.
