For my services ( https://12-words.com and one on its way) I receive bitcoins using client-side generated HD derived addresses.If I understand correctly, I can accept SegWit transactions by switching to BIP 142 addresses. But from this BIP I understand that these are not backwards compatible. Is this correct?Is there a way (without the payment protocol) to indicate SegWit support while allowing payments from older clients?Or should I just wait for >99% wallet adoption before switching? via /r/Bitcoin http://bit.ly/1RrZnaH
