Is Bitcoin too good to be true?

I can't help but feel that Bitcoin is just too good to be true. There are some risks involved in buying it (KYC, hacks, loosing keys) but overall, it is quite a safe investment once you know what you're doing.If you think that Bitcoin will overcome it's current all time high within a year or so, then don't you also think that it is too good to be true?
