If you regularly spent $10 a month every month investing in bitcoin, this is what would have happened:
Over the last 6 years BTC Spent Value 705.13 $720 $475,255.83 Over the last 5 years BTC Spent Value 35.12 $600 $23,671.05 Over the last 4 years BTC Spent Value 7.94 $480 $5,354.00 Over the last 3 years BTC Spent Value 1.25 $360 $844.43 Over the last 2 years BTC Spent Value 0.75 $240 $505.82 Over the last year BTC Spent Value 0.35 $120 $234.05
Some notes about the calculations:
 Accuracy not guaranteed.
Future trend not guaranteed, but going by history, the future looks bright!
The [BTC] column shows how much bitcoin you would have had if you started 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, or 1 year(s) ago.
The [Spent] column shows how much you would have spent to date in USD.
The [Value] column shows how much your bitcoin would have been worth in USD based on note #05 below.
Based on the 2016-07-01 value of 1 BTC at $674.
Day of the month used for calculations was the 18th of each month.
Why the 18th? Because the data source used for the above, started on the 18th.
Why $10? Just to show what a big difference a small amount can make. Feel free to change to a smaller or larger amount based on your personal circumstances.
What happens if the regularity is changed? I don't know, I haven't attempted to calculate that "yet"!
Data taken from the "Historical Price Data" downloadable spreadsheet at http://bit.ly/1Qof9ml.
What is this investment technique called? It is called "Dollar-Cost Averaging or DCA for short". More info here: http://bit.ly/295x565
Friendly tip based on personal observations, fixing the monthly fiat amount seems to work better than fixing the monthly bitcoin amount!
Another friendly tip, choose a fixed fiat monthly amount you can afford and be consistent and have patience.
