Isn't a closed door meeting between core and the miners proof bitcoin is centralized?

Let's face it, what ever plans were made or discussed behind those doors over the weekend is most likely the inevitable direction bitcoin will take. For better or for worse that gives me an unsettling feeling... Anyone else?
