*Noob questions*

Good evening, So i have Linux Mint running on a decent machine and would like to get into Mining.. just to let it run for a while..

Thing is.. i would like something simple like a GUI application for Linux.. Any recommendations if any?

Also, I know there are a lot of wallets to choose from.. best rated wallet? or is this all personal preference?
