anyone mining with FPGA?

i've been mining using GPU for a little over a year now but i've heard from a few friends that they are 10-30x faster than GPU. ive been reading this guide (https://fpga.guide/en/ ) and they seem pretty interesting

anyone here have touched FPGA or have any thoughts?
