Buy enough to be a whole coiner?

I have 35k And can either buy btc and then I’ll have a whole coin or keep earning 8-9% APY on those stablecoins?Please don’t tell me to diversify and only invest what I can afford to lose, Bc that’s obvious.What I am asking is, because it’s a huge chunk of money, is it worth waiting for a dip?
