How it's supposed to sound: "I've done the calculations on future value and expected value, and 3 bitcoins should set me up an acceptable annuity to last me through retirement."
What it really means: "I need 3. One to sell when it reaches one million so I can be a millionaire, one to keep forever so I can always be a wholecoiner, and one to comfortably spend over the rest of my life."
