Prices of everything have only ever attempted to be cheaper and it’s always been that way. The reason we’ve never see it, or felt it, is because we’ve only ever priced everything in an inflationary money. If it wasn’t for inflation prices would fall to the marginal price of production in order to be competitive. The point of innovation is to give “more for less” but inflation doesn’t let us experience this so instead we experience getting less for more.
