So I'm a developer who's new to Bitcoin, and right now I'm trying to stretch my head around how block hashing and getblocktemplate and all of that. Unfortunately, the machine I installed the Bitcoin client on is currently down (thanks, Windows 10.) So I can't just call getblocktemplate myself to look at what it returns.
So -- is anyone out there running a publicly-accessible bitcoind instance? Maybe a free, read-only one that only outputs data (and that I might be able to directly call in a browser)? Just thought that seeing the JSON data itself might help me grasp some of the concepts here.
Thanks!
