Hi everyone,We’re excited to host our first-ever joint AMA here on Reddit!In terms of background, we both were born and raised in the Ivory Coast. We then moved to New Jersey as teenagers for high school. Bobby went to Stanford for college and Charlie went to MIT; we both majored in computer science as undergrads, and then both got our masters degrees in computer science as well.After graduating from MIT, Charlie worked as a software engineer for a number of tech companies in the US before joining Google. After Stanford, Bobby worked for Yahoo, Walmart and other tech companies in US and China in technical leadership roles.In early 2011, Charlie discovered Bitcoin, and introduced it to Bobby, and we both started mining bitcoin for fun. Charlie then went on to create Litecoin at the end of 2011. After founding BTCC, Bobby became CEO of the company in early 2013.
