Good power supply for antminer s7?

I bought the EVGA superNOVA 1300w power supply for my miner. However I'm having problems finding enough 6 pin pci-e connectors to supply my miner.

I have 6 "VGA" 8 pin to 6 pin pci-e connectors. Here I a picture of how it looks. http://bit.ly/1TpTL6q With this I get a total of 8 6 pin pci-e i can connect to the miner because of few of them split off into 2.

My question is will this work? and is it safe to go from 8 pin to 6 pin? If this doesn't work can you recommend a psu (or 2) that you use.
