So, consens here seems to be that Bitcoin is no currency, but a settlement layer and everybody who doesn't believe is stupid or a fudster

I was interested in Bitcoin the currency, but since I'm not in charge of anything I have the choice to accept Bitcoin is now a settlement network or I leave. I'm not sure, what to do ... but I have some suggestions for this sub:change the sidebar from "Bitcoin is the currency of the Internet" to "Bitcoin is the settlement network of the internetdelete posts that say "X accepts Bitcoin" until lightning is ready. By now this is useless and sucks users in believing wrongly that Bitcoin was a currencystop talking about bitcoin as a cryptocurrency.
