I've been speculating the whole mining scene lately. Bitmain has started selling two more profitable miners than the S9. One of them is the L3+ and the other is the D3. The L3+ mines Script Coins (Litecoin) and the D3 mines X11 Coins (Dash).
As you may have noticed, SHA256 miners mathematically didn't make sense to run in comparison to the Script and X11 miners.
With the hard fork, SHA256 miners can choose to mine BTC or Bitcoin Cash. From the research I have done, Bitcoin Cash will have a difficulty readjustment, and it will decrease significantly.
Did this hard fork save SHA256 mining from becoming overpowered by X11 and Script mining? What do you guys think?
