So I have an Antminer S5 and every so often, it will just drop off the network. I'm not sure what the issue is as obviously, at that point, there's not much diagnosis I can see I can do but a reboot gets things back.
Does anyone have a design for a simple watchdog circuit that would detect when the antminer went incommunicado and would perform a reboot? I do have some access to some other hardware nearby but something standalone would be the best.
Also, is there any way to tell which firmware is running? I figure I may need to upgrade but I can't see an actual firmware version anywhere.
