While I don't hold any Bitcoins, I agree with the technology and see the improvements it could make for the word.7 days ago I set up a full node in Windows, and was surprised by how easy it is. I'm running it off of an old desktop PC we use for recording from our IP Cameras that runs 24/7.I used NetLimiter (free) to cap the upload bandwidth to 256KB/s (2Mbps) so it doesn't slow down our residential internet connection.As I live in the UK, I have no data limits per month.So far I've uploaded 65GB in 7 days, so expect to upload about 3.3TB a year.
