So I'm going to college in a few months and I don't have to pay for utilities in my dorm. I know it's loud so I'm not going to have it 24/7, it'll be more for fun. But at my college, I have to register each computer in order to connect to the internet. Would I have to register a GPU setup? Or would it be connected to my computer. Sorry for the weird question. Also would a dorm room be a proper environment for it? Have any mining rigs ever overheated? Or does a GPU setup not normally do that.
