I know very little about what it takes in terms of resources to create a new cryptocurrency. So I dont know how viable something like this could ever be.Anyway, the basic idea is, what would happen if someone were to make a (MMO) game that is free to play and the currency in the game is a cryptocurrency?Essentially the way to mine coins would be to play the game. What kind of environment would that create? And would there be some possible method that the devs could use to turn a profit in this kind of environment.So basically the game is free and players determine the value of the currency and in turn this provides some means for the devs to gain value through that in some way.SO an alternate method to make profit that isn't micro transactions or buy to play.
