Japan and Australia's new law lifts consumption tax from BTC purchases goes into effect July 1st

I've barely heard anyone mention this? Should we not be anticipating a huge increase in demand on July 1 for those in australia and japan who are waiting to buy crypto until tey can avoid the 8% tax penalty?
