Since Liquid is a big deal, probably a lot of people would like to know how it is supposed to work from a technical level? How did sidechains get around their soft-fork requirements? Why does the solution require a proprietary piece of hardware? Is the solution similar to Voting Pools? How does it work on a technical level and what is the innovation here?
