Networks worthy of attack prove their worthy by fighting back

TL;DR 750 ETH bounty finders fee to find a co-author who can model a Sybil attack against an insurance DAO.The above is the title of a blog post I am currently writing. I am looking for a specific collaborator who has a background writing on any of the following topics: Sybil attacks, reputation systems, online identities, how social networks establish identity, social capital, peer to peer insurance.Paper will seek to do the following:Clearly define the existing protocol to be used by the insurance DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) Dynamis.Measure its effectiveness in establishing that each new policy is linked to a single offline persona.Illustrate the specific costs and potential profits of a Sybil attack by simulating an attacker who commits fraud via puppet profiles.Points which make this paper exciting for me:I do not know if a 51% attack against a blockchain is really a Sybil attack but many papers have already been written about this. Such attacks seem counter productive to the attacker because they simultaneously decrease the value of the underlying token they are attempting to capture. You could 51% attack a DAO however and drain it of all of its resources without the value of the underlying captured asset having decreased. In most instances it is difficult to measure the value of a network before and after a Sybil attack is committed. Modeling fraud committed against a peer to peer insurance network (insurance DAO) would allow someone to produce a specific simulation where the value of a network before and after the attack can be definitively measured. Such a model will also allow us to measure the costs an attacker pays to produce and manage each Sybil profile relative to the potential benefit in fraudulent claims the attacker is able to collect. What I am looking for:I need to find someone who is capable of creating a model which can simulate this type of attack. The benefit for potential candidates is that this paper will not be merely a theoretical exercise as Dynamis will go live by the end of this year. Then we can gather real data on the system and monitor the system for real attacks even putting out potential bounties for those who might stress test the network.Dynamis will pay a finders fee of 750 ETH (approx 2 BTC at time of writing) if someone assists to connect us with an extremely well qualified applicant upon completion of a white paper on this subject. An award of equal or greater value would also be paid out to the co-author for participation relative to how many policy holders Dynamis has by this time next year (value to be negotiated). This paper may take some time to complete so its entirely possible that the 750 ETH could be paid in BTC milestones created on bitrated.comWhat has been written already:How identity is established: http://bit.ly/1Gacopq of my next blog: http://bit.ly/1GEQF3V blog posts: http://bit.ly/1Gacnld: http://bit.ly/1GEQFk9 you very much in advance for any help, consideration, promotion, advice, words of encouragement, words of rebuke (which produce a positive change). Dynamis would never be possible without the help of the Ethereum community.~J via /r/CryptoCurrency http://bit.ly/1Gacnlf
