I know this is not a new idea even for cryptocurrencies but it's relatively new to me. I came across an old article alluding to how people have profited by writing software to take advantage of arbitrage between currencies or exchanges, a website that calculates current arbitrage across several cryptocurrencies and exchanges, and several random APIs or bot software packages that all seem to work together for this purpose.If there is profit to be made by automatically performing the right exchanges at the right time using a simple arbitrage detection algorithm, why aren't there more people doing it?
