OK so obviously as of late the consensus is that it's just not worth mining with a cpu/gpu setup because of the cost of the electricity usage vs the profit from mining.
I was wondering whether this is more a statement targeted at Americans (or whatever other nationalities that have a reasonably strong currency)
At the moment 1 USD is about 13.67 South African Rand, which makes 1 BTC about 133 949.52 South African Rand.
I'm new to the whole mining thing, so any info or advice you might have would be appreciated!
